DUTCH WARMBLOOD - GELDERLANDER
AVENIR is registered with both the American Warmblood Society and by the Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeder's Association.
AVENIR's sire Patrick and dam Zabella were both Dutch Warmblood / Gelderlanders. Avenir was a bold horse, stood at 17.1 hands, was an amazing mover and a great jumper. Most of his career had been in the Show Jumping arena, including the Pentathlon in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, California
AVENIR retired to OneStone in the mid 1990's as a breeding stallion and was one of the foundation horses for Paula's Gelderlander and Dutch-cross breeding program.
